1) Big Buddha Temple
On the beach of Koh Samui, There is a famous big Buddha Temple. This Big Buddha temple is locally known as Wat Phra Yai. It is 12-metre high golden Buddha Statue. Different shrines and other smaller decorated Buddha’s are surrounding the Temple. Many shops and restaurants are their surrounding the temple. This area is called as Big Buddha Beach. There is a small market within the temple selling lucky charms and other Buddhist items.
2) Angthong National Marine Park
Angthong is a national marine park in the Gulf of Thailand. It covers 42 islands. It is 28 kilometers from Koh Samui. This park covers the area of thick jungle, Limestone Mountains, fertile mangroves, white sand beaches, hidden coves and waterfalls. In Angthong National Marine Park, you can see sea creatures and exotic wildlife. This park is the protected area.
3) Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks
Grandfather and Grandmother Rocks are the some interesting rocks formation on Koh Samui’s South beach. These Rocks are locally known as Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks. You can go there through the rivers, jungle and mountains by a four wheeler jeep.
6) Namuang Waterfall
Namuang waterfall is located only 10 km south from Nathon. In Koh Samui, there are several waterfalls but two Namuang waterfalls are more attractive. Namuang one is 18 meter high. We can be reached their by vehicle. Namuang two is about 80 meter high and can be reached by a 30 minute walk. Trees roots and Rocks form a staircase that goes to the base of Namuang one. These are the most scenic waterfalls on the island.
7) Mummified Monk
Wat Khunaram temple is home to a mummified monk. In Koh Samui, there are several mummified monk. But Luang Pordaeng is most famous one. Luang Pordaeng died over 20 years ago; his body was placed in a designed glass case. He has showed few sign of decay. Local Buddhist people come here to make prey and merit. 8) Ladyboy Cabaret Shows
Thailand is famous for the Ladyboy Cabaret Shows. If you are fan of these shows then Chaweng Beach is the place to enjoy these shows. Thai Society is generally more open to the ladyboy than the other culture. Most of the cabaret shows in chaweng are located near the Centara Grand Beach Resort. There are mainly two cabaret shows. 9) Samui Snake Farm

The unique part of this temple is that having very ornate décor and art and very large Chinese Buddha set on the lake. Another white laughing Buddha statue is also there. This temple is open to visitors all day with free of cost.
